How do I clear my browser’s cache and cookies?

Google Chrome

For Windows users, though steps will be similar on a Mac:

  1. In Chrome browser, at the top, click More (three dots) > More tools > Clear browsing data.
  2. Select a time range. (To delete everything, select All time.)
  3. Select "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," and click Clear data.

Mozilla Firefox

For Windows users, though steps will be similar on a Mac:

  1. Click Library > History > Clear Recent History.
  2. Next to "Time range to clear," select Everything from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select Cache in the items list, making sure that other items you want to keep are NOT selected. Click the Clear Now.

Safari

For Mac users. To delete all cached content:

  1. On your Mac, click the Apple menu (upper left) > System Preferences > Sharing.
  2. In the Sharing window, select Content Caching and follow the prompts.
