Moveworks Setup - Multilingual Support

What is Multilingual Support?

Moveworks supports over 100+ languages, as well on-the-fly translation of knowledge base articles (KBA) snippets, forms, approvals, and many more resources.

What can be achieved from this module ?

In this module, you can:

  1. Configure the languages that are required for multilingual translations
  2. Set the default bot response language to a non-english language, in case majority of your organization's employees use a non-english language
  3. Enable/ disable multilingual support for your bot
  4. Enable/ disable On-the-fly translations for KBAs, notifications, etc.
  5. Enable/ disable ticket translation

Pre-requisites for this module

Before proceeding for setting language preferences and enabling the MLS controls, please ensure that:

  1. The Chatbot has already been configured.

How to guides

  1. How do I configure additional languages for multilingual translation in the bot?
    1. Go to Multilingual support > Language Preferences in Moveworks Setup.
    2. Click on Edit.
    3. Select and add required languages in the "Required Core Languages" and "Machine-Translation Languages" field (whichever is applicable).
    4. Click on Submit.
    5. Wait for 4-5 business days for core-languages to move from "Required core languages" to "Installed core languages". Then proceed to MLS Plugin controls for enablement. If you have configured only non-core languages, you can directly proceed to MLS Plugin controls for enablement.
  2. How do I set my default bot language to a non-english language for my org?
    1. Go to Multilingual support > Language Preferences in Moveworks Setup.
    2. Click on Edit.
    3. Select the language from the list. Please note: Default non-English language can only be selected from core-languages.
    4. Click on Submit.
    5. Warning: This setting should only be used for organizations where majority of the employees speak or communicate in a non-english core language.
