This page will provide more information about the configuration options available in the Lookups module.

Prerequisites

Make sure that Moveworks Bot and User Identity are setup before configuring Lookups.

Lookup Discovery

Label for "Lookups" Button: This lets you to define a text label for the button that will be shown in the greeting message. Clicking this button will show a Lookups discovery card, which will then guide users on how to use the Lookups skill.

Sample Queries: This allows you to specify a sample set of queries that will be presented to users as references for them to try out in a Lookups discovery card.

People Lookup Card Results

Default Fields: This lets you show the default fields for people in the Moveworks bot’s response.

Override Default Fields: This allows you to completely replace all the default fields for people in the Moveworks bot’s response.

Additional Settings for People and Places Lookup Fields

Customize Default Field Titles: This lets you customize the names of the fields for people and places in the Moveworks bot’s response. For example, “phone” field can be displayed as “Contact” in the lookup results card.

Note

This only substitutes the name at the time of display and doesn’t change the actual name of the field.

Distinguishing Fields in case of Ambiguous Results: This lets you choose the specific fields to display when there are similar lookup matches, helping resolve any ambiguity in the responses.

For example

If there are two John Doe(s) in your organization and the role field is selected in this config, then role will help in identifying which John Doe you might be looking for.

Bot's response:

I found a couple of people named John Doe:

1. John Doe – Sales Manager
2. John Doe – Marketing Specialist

Could you please specify which Rohit you are referring to, or if you need information about both?😊

Places Lookup Card Results

Advanced or Deprecated Configs

Title for the Lookups Discovery Card: This lets you define a title that will be displayed on the discovery card shown when the user clicks the Label for "Lookups" Button.

Lookup Results Card Footer: This lets you add a footer in the Moveworks bot’s response.

Knorah Bot Fields (To Be Deprecated): This provides information about the Moveworks bot. We do not recommended modifying this field as it will be deprecated in the future.

Knorah Alliance Owner Title (To Be Deprecated): This provides information about the Moveworks bot. We do not recommended modifying this field as it will be deprecated in the future.

Header for Lookup Plugin Results (Deprecated): This is the header surfaced to the user when they try to explore people and places lookups in their bot. We do not recommended modifying this field as it will be deprecated in the future.

Title for Lookup Plugin Results (Deprecated): The title of this plugin. We do not recommended modifying this field as it will be deprecated in the future.

Footer for Lookup Plugin Results (Deprecated): This is the footer surfaced to the user when they try to explore people and places lookups in their bot. We do not recommended modifying this field as it will be deprecated in the future.
