Sort email by most important
To sort emails by most important, enable the Focused Inbox feature:
- Launch the MS Outlook app.
- Tap Account Selector (hamburger icon in upper left corner), then Settings (gear icon).
- Scroll down and tap Focused Inbox to switch it ON.
Set up automatic replies in Outlook
- Launch the MS Outlook app.
- Tap the square Account Selector menu button (upper left corner), then Settings (gear icon) and then your account.
- Switch Automatic Replies to ON.
Manage calendar in Outlook app
- Launch the MS Outlook app and tap Calendar in the bottom menu.
- Adjust what your calendar displays:
- Change the calendar view: Tap Calendar view (square blue and white icon) and select your preferred view (Agenda, Day, 3-Day, or Month). To enable 7-Day View, turn your device to Landscape orientation.
- Select a different calendar account: Tap Calendar Account Menu (blue hamburger icon). Then, tap the check mark next to the calendars that you want to view.
Create calendar events in Outlook app
- In the Outlook app, tap Calendar in the bottom menu.
- In the calendar screen, tap the plus sign (top right-corner). A New Event screen displays.
- Enter your event details and tap the check mark (upper right corner) to save or send.
Outlook app stops syncing email
If your device has stopped syncing new email, ensure you have Battery Saving disabled:
- Open Settings and tap Battery.
- Tap the ellipse to access battery settings, then tap Battery Optimization.
- Tap the down arrow, then "All Apps".
- For both the Microsoft Authenticator and Outlook apps, tap Not Optimized to turn off battery optimization.
If syncing issues persist, check your device's data saver settings:
- Open Settings and tap Connections > Data usage > Data saver > Allow app while Data saver on.
- Find the Outlook App and ensure its toggle-switch is switched on.
