Requesting a laptop refresh
As an employee of our company, you may need to request a new laptop to replace your old one. This is called a "laptop refresh," and it's a common practice to ensure that all employees have access to the latest technology and features.
To request a laptop refresh, follow these steps:
- Contact your IT department or supervisor to initiate the request. Be sure to provide your name, employee ID, and the reasons for your request (e.g. your current laptop is outdated, not working properly, etc.).
- Your IT department or supervisor will review your request and determine if it meets the eligibility criteria for a laptop refresh.
- If your request is approved, you'll be provided with a new laptop and any necessary instructions for transferring your data and settings.
Our company's laptop refresh policy is designed to provide employees with the tools they need to be productive and efficient. However, not all requests will be approved. The following factors may affect the approval of a laptop refresh request:
- The age of your current laptop: If your laptop is relatively new (less than 3 years old), you may not be eligible for a refresh.
- The condition of your current laptop: If your laptop is damaged or not working properly, you may be eligible for a refresh.
- The reason for your request: If the reasons for your request are not related to the performance or functionality of your laptop, your request may not be approved.
By understanding the laptop refresh policy and following the steps to request a new laptop, you can ensure that you have the right tools to do your job effectively.
