What accounts do I need to get as a new hire?

Check your email and with your manager for team-related accounts.

For company-related accounts, check that you have access to the following; if you don’t, contact IT to open a ticket to request access.

What is the holiday calendar in the US?

Office holidays for the US are:

  • New Year's Day: Friday, January 1, 2021
  • President's Day: Monday, February 15, 2021
  • Memorial Day: Monday, May 31, 2021
  • Independence Day: Monday, July 5, 2021
  • Labor Day: Monday, September 6, 2021

What is our PTO policy?

Our PTO policy is as follows:

  • All full time employees are eligible for PTO.
  • There is currently no explicit limit on the amount of PTO days per year an employee may take.
  • All PTO requests must be approved by your supervisor with at least 2 weeks notice.

How do I request time off?

To submit your PTO request:

  1. Discuss the time off with your manager so they are aware of your request.
  2. Communicate with your team so they are aware, and delegate any necessary tasks.
  3. Submit your PTO request via .
  4. Enjoy your PTO!

For time off of less than one workday, there is no need to submit a formal request. Make sure your manager and team are aware of your plans, and update your calendar accordingly.

What is our parental leave policy?

Our parental leave policy is as follows:

  • All full time employees are eligible for paid parental leave.
  • Employees can take up to 2 months of parental leave. Pregnant mothers unable to work due to physical disability may take an extra <amount>, totaling <amount>.
  • You will be paid <percentage> of your salary during this time, through the regular payroll.

What benefits are available to employees in the US?

When is open enrollment?

How do I add my spouse or children to my insurance?

What is a qualifying event for health insurance?

  • Marriage or divorce
  • Birth or adoption of a child
  • Dependent no longer eligible (due to age, full independence, or marriage)
  • Death of spouse or other dependent
  • Spouse's employment begins or ends
  • Loss of a job, or change in hours affecting your benefits eligibility
  • Loss of existing coverage or eligibility for existing coverage
  • Relocation into or outside of your plan's service area
  • Beginning or end of an unpaid leave of absence taken by you or your spouse
