Initiative Designer is an experience within the AI Agent Marketplace that lets you discover, customize, and visualize AI-powered business processes — and get your team aligned on the strategy before building. It presents visual representations of end-to-end business workflows that show how multiple plugins work together to automate a business process.

What is an Initiative?

An initiative is a visual, end-to-end representation of a business workflow — such as expense management or talent acquisition — that maps personas, tasks, and plugins across each step of the process.

Core Capabilities

There are a few ways to work with initiatives:

  • Discover & Personalize existing initiatives — Browse pre-built initiatives by system or domain. See the process flow, personas, and plugins at each step. Customize with natural language.
  • Build a new initiative from scratch — No relevant template? Describe the process and generate a fully populated initiative on the fly.
  • Explore hypothetical plugins — See AI-suggested plugins that don’t exist yet. Prototype in Mock Agents, build in Agent Architect, save as custom plugins.
  • Save and share — Save initiatives to your workspace and share with stakeholders or dev teams.

Where Initiative Designer Fits

Initiative Designer is for discovering and scoping business process transformation — not for building individual plugins from scratch. If you need to build a specific plugin, use Agent Architect on Marketplace or the Agent Architect Guidance Panel within Agent Studio, or Mock Agents.

Initiative Designer is upstream of those tools. It helps you figure out what to build and why, then hands off to Agent Architect and Mock Agents for the how.
